The Æsir gods Natt and Dag The Æsir gods Natt and Dag.
The nordic mythology, the Æsir cult, includes two gods by the names Natt and Dag respectively. Snorre Sturlasson writes about these gods in his Prose Edda (The Prose Edda in English). Worth noting is that this is the same Snorre Sturlasson who writes about Sigtrygg, a man who lived in the 11th century, and who according to Gabriel Anrep could be the first Natt och Dag. However, there exist no known proof of the latter.
